I ran across this article a few months ago about an attempt to ban circumcision in San Francisco. This is one of those issues that quickly drives us into meta-ethical territory because it involves cultural context. Does a culture make something right that would otherwise be wrong? If not, then what is the alternative that stands above culture and common notions of the good? etc.

Whatever the case, if Philadelphia were to pass such a law it would definitely put a damper on our plans for our next child.

Congratulations! Hyrum guessed it and Joseph isn't home yet:). We just got your message on our way home from Chloe's PT appointment! Sorry we didn't get to talk in person! You will have to keep us updated. I guess I can hold on to these girls' clothes I was saving just in case...perhaps for Sarah or some girls in the ward:)!

You guys always come up with such clever ways to announce your news. Two boys sounds like trouble, but I'm sure you're up to it!

Even if Philly decided to pass the law, there's no way this city would get it done before your lucky boy arrives! How fun to have two little boys!
